(hereinafter referred to as "Xi'an Institute of Optics and Precision Mechanics CAS Aerospace Science and Technology Group Co.,LTD") has officially joined the Commercial Aerospace Professional Committee of the National Earth Observation Science Data Center, becoming its 15th member unit.

On July 8, 2025, the 2025 Aerospace Information Conference and CAS StarMap Ecosystem Development Conference, themed "Integration of Space and Air, Symbiosis of Nebula," grandly opened in Hefei. As a key player in the commercial aerospace sector, Xi'an CAS Xiguang Aerospace Technology Co., Ltd. At 12:05 PM on May 21, 2025, the Xiguang-1 series satellite (Tanli) independently developed by Xi'an Xi'an Institute of Optics and Precision Mechanics CAS Aerospace Science and Technology Group Co.,LTD Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Xi'an Institute of Optics and Precision Mechanics CAS Aerospace Science and Technology Group Co.,LTD") was successfully launched into space from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center aboard the Lijian-1 Y7 carrier rocket. Currently, the satellite's solar panels have deployed, and telemetry signals are normal.。As the first satellite launched by CAS Xiguang Aerospace in 2025, this satellite will carry out a series of new technology demonstrations and on-orbit tests after it is in orbit, injecting new momentum into the development of my country's commercial aerospace industry.

China's first commercial high-resolution point source methane monitoring satellite released its first dual images of "carbon source" and "carbon sink," and established a Sino-French joint remote sensing monitoring laboratory.
On April 25, 2025, the tenth China Space Day, a milestone moment arrived for global climate governance on the banks of the Huangpu River. The International Conference on Space-Based Climate Change Response, jointly hosted by four Chinese ministries (China National Space Administration, Ministry of Ecology and Environment, China Meteorological Administration, and Shanghai Municipal Government) and with participation from institutions across three continents, grandly opened. Over 300 space elites from more than ten countries gathered to jointly envision a technological blueprint for "Protecting the Earth with Space Vision."
