The 5th Remote Sensing Forum was held in Yuncheng City, Shanxi Province on October 26. On October 12th, the highly anticipated "Remote Sensing Technology Empowering New Productivity" High-Level Forum and Expert Committee Standing Meeting was successfully held in Xi'an, Shaanxi Province. This forum was jointly organized by the Expert Committee of the China Remote Sensing Application Association, the Shaanxi Provincial Society of Natural Resources, the Space Earth Observation Professional Committee of the China Seismological Society, the National Key Laboratory of Uranium Resource Exploration and Nuclear Remote Sensing, and the Satellite Remote Sensing Application of the China SCO Geoscience Research Center, among other authoritative institutions. To promote the integration of technological innovation and industry, the 10th China International Smart Agriculture and Information Technology Summit Forum (PIS2024) was held in Hangzhou from August 15th to 16th, 2024.

In March 2021, General Secretary Xi Jinping emphasized at the Ninth Meeting of the Central Financial and Economic Affairs Commission that achieving carbon peaking and carbon neutrality is a broad and profound systemic transformation of the economy and society. He stressed that carbon peaking and carbon neutrality must be incorporated into the overall framework of ecological civilization construction, and that resolute efforts must be made to achieve the goals of carbon peaking before 2030 and carbon neutrality before 2060 on schedule. These "dual carbon" goals are a solemn commitment my country has made to the world, demonstrating China's firm determination to actively address climate change, pursue a green and low-carbon development path, and promote the common development of all mankind.

On July 21, the "Decision of the CPC Central Committee on Further Comprehensively Deepening Reform and Advancing Chinese-Style Modernization," adopted at the Third Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee, was released. It explicitly states the need to "develop general aviation and the low-altitude economy," "improve the institutional mechanisms for developing new productive forces in accordance with local conditions," and "accelerate the formation of production relations more adapted to new productive forces, promoting the aggregation of various advanced factors of production towards the development of new productive forces."。This marks the first time that "new-type productive forces," "general aviation," and "low-altitude economy" have been included in the decisions of the plenary sessions of the CPC Central Committee, highlighting the Party Central Committee's high regard for accelerating the development of new-type productive forces and sending a positive signal to industries such as commercial aerospace.

On July 15, 2024, the Xi'an Municipal Development and Reform Commission released a list of companies that received policy subsidies under the 2024 Xi'an Municipal Industrial Development Guidance Special Fund Project (Cultivating and Strengthening Emerging Industries). Xi'an Xi'an Institute of Optics and Precision Mechanics CAS Aerospace Science and Technology Group Co.,LTD Technology Co., Ltd., as a satellite application company, was successfully selected and received support from this special fund.
