In the process of remote sensing satellites using remote sensing technology and equipment to observe land cover and natural phenomena, the location, time, and data transmission times of the satellite observations all require operational management by the ground system. After satellite remote sensing data is transmitted to the ground receiving station through the satellite data transmission system, it needs to undergo a series of operations such as format decoding, decompression, and image data processing to produce usable image products. These operations are all performed by the remote sensing satellite ground system.

Today, under the "double reduction" policy (reducing the number of schools and reducing the number of students), the country is placing increasing emphasis on science popularization, making science education for primary and secondary school students an important supplement to traditional school education. On September 20, 2022, Xi'an Institute of Optics and Precision Mechanics CAS Aerospace Science and Technology Group Co.,LTD signed an education service cooperation agreement with Xi'an Airport No. 1 School in Xixian New Area, and officially entered the school on September 29 to provide a complete aerospace science popularization and education curriculum system, marking a new step forward in Zhongke Xiguang's strategic layout in the aerospace science and education industry.

Recently, space agencies from various countries, including China, have been launching various types of artificial satellites, including oceanographic, meteorological, and communication satellites. In August 2022, a total of 18 space launches were conducted globally, successfully sending 300 spacecraft into space. Among them, 297 are operating in low Earth orbit (including 1 lunar orbiter, 5 groups of 251 Starlink satellites, 1 reusable experimental spacecraft, and 1 secret satellite, of which 133 are operating in sun-synchronous orbit), 1 is operating in geostationary orbit, 1 is operating in lunar orbit, and 1 has an unknown orbit.
