Aerospace optical remote sensing technology: Earth's all-around "selfie tool"
With the continuous development of global aerospace technology, high-definition images captured by satellites are playing an indispensable role in people's lives. Using satellite imagery, people can better conduct urban planning and construction, address river and soil pollution, carry out earthquake relief, monitor agricultural pests and diseases, and conduct mineral exploration, among other tasks. Whether in national welfare, national security, or space exploration, satellite imagery has enormous potential.

Military-Civilian Integration, Deep Development | Xiao Zhigao, Manager of the National Military-Civilian Integration Fund, Visits and Exchanges with CAS Xiguang.
Since 2015, as a major national strategy, military-civilian integration has entered a substantive practical stage. The aerospace industry, applicable to both military and economic development within the scientific field, has become a crucial link between the national economy and defense economy. Commercial aerospace has become a new driving force for the development of the aerospace industry, prompting it to gradually shift from primarily serving national needs to simultaneously serving society, and propelling the deep integration of military and civilian sectors in the aerospace industry.

Complementary Resources, Win-Win Cooperation | Orbita Aerospace and CAS Xi'an Optoelectronics Conduct Friendly Exchanges
Since 2014, my country's commercial space industry has developed at an astonishing pace, with a series of private space companies rapidly emerging and driving rocket launches onto a truly commercial path. With the continuous entry of numerous brand-name space companies, commercial spaceflight is now in a period of rapid development, characterized by fierce competition and a focus on excellence, becoming a crucial support for my country's efforts to build a space power and realize its space dream.

Zhongke Xiguang: Precisely positioning itself in the small satellite industry chain, prioritizing high quality even with low weight.
In recent years, with advancements in aerospace technology and launch capabilities, satellites have become increasingly smaller, their orbital altitudes have decreased, and their deployment frequency has increased significantly. Leveraging advantages such as standardization, modularity, low cost, short development cycles, and flexible deployment, the microsatellite industry has rapidly emerged, with an increasing number of commercial small satellite projects being deployed, officially ushering in the era of small satellites.

Open cooperation and shared opportunities | A delegation led by Wang Guangzhi, Deputy Director of the Wenchang International Aerospace City Administration, visited and exchanged ideas with CAS Xi'an Optoelectronics.
Today, my country's high-tech strategic industries, represented by its aerospace program, have entered a new stage of development. The four major launch sites located in Jiuquan, Xichang, Wenchang, and Taiyuan have become the cradle and crucial support for my country's aerospace industry. Among them, the Wenchang Space Launch Site in Hainan is my country's new-generation high-thrust carrier rocket launch site, holding a vital position and role in my country's aerospace system. In recent years, the construction of the Hainan Wenchang International Aerospace City, relying on the Wenchang Space Launch Site, has been accelerating. While serving the development of my country's aerospace industry and accelerating the construction of a space power, it is also integrating into a new development pattern, striving to create a new engine for development.

Xi'an Institute of Optics and Precision Mechanics CAS Aerospace Science and Technology Group Co.,LTD and PICC Property & Casualty Insurance signed a strategic cooperation agreement
In recent years, with policy support and capital investment, China's commercial aerospace industry has experienced significant growth and faces broader development and cooperation opportunities. Against this backdrop, to better ensure the stable development of my country's commercial aerospace industry, on May 30, 2022, Xi'an Xi'an Institute of Optics and Precision Mechanics CAS Aerospace Science and Technology Group Co.,LTD Technology Co., Ltd. and the Shaanxi Branch of the People's Insurance Company of China (PICC) held a strategic cooperation signing ceremony.

Small satellites: A new blue ocean for the development of the commercial space industry
Today, amidst the steady development of the global aerospace industry, China is actively investing in aerospace construction. Against this backdrop, commercial aerospace has experienced rapid growth in recent years, and the market has begun to take shape. Data shows that the size of China's commercial aerospace market is expected to exceed 1.5 trillion yuan in 2022. In terms of market size, China's commercial aerospace industry has entered a period of rapid development; in terms of application scenarios, although commercial aerospace is still in its early stages of development, its room for growth and potential are enormous.

Zhongke Xiguang is actively developing the carbon monitoring satellite industry to help my country achieve its vision of "carbon peaking and carbon neutrality".
"Peaking carbon emissions and achieving carbon neutrality" refers to the process by which carbon dioxide emissions gradually increase, eventually reaching an inflection point where the annual growth rate reaches zero, and then continuously decline until carbon emissions and carbon removal offset each other, achieving carbon neutrality. The process from "peaking carbon emissions" to "carbon neutrality" represents a shift from relative decoupling to absolute decoupling between economic growth and carbon dioxide emissions. The proposed goals and vision of "peaking carbon emissions and achieving carbon neutrality" elevate China's green development path to a new level, becoming one of the main themes of China's socio-economic development for the next few decades.

Carbon satellites: "sniffing out" carbon from afar, accurately monitoring global carbon emissions.
With the rapid development of atmospheric sounding and modeling technologies, tracing carbon emissions through atmospheric carbon dioxide concentration observation is considered an effective method for assessing greenhouse gas emission reduction achievements. On December 22, 2016, my country launched its first carbon dioxide observation scientific experimental satellite, TanSat, becoming the third country in the world to provide carbon satellite data.
