At the main forum of the conference,He Xiaoning, General Manager of the Aerospace Remote Sensing Division of CAS Xiguang, delivered a keynote speech entitled "From 'Sky Sensing and Ground Calculation' to 'Sky Data Calculation': The Technological Leap of Quantitative Remote Sensing in 'Commercial Aerospace + Artificial Intelligence'".Combining industry development stages, technological pain points, self-developed innovation systems, and the 15th Five-Year Plan industrial layout, this paper fully shares a new path for the intelligent transformation of commercial aerospace remote sensing.

He Xiaoning pointed out that the industry has completed the shift from "whether there are satellites" to "how well the satellites are used," and the 15th Five-Year Plan will enter a new stage of large-scale, integrated, and data-value-driven development. The traditional "space-based sensing and ground-based computing" model has two major bottlenecks: long time latency and short imaging time. The "Xiguang Series" quantitative hyperspectral intelligent computing constellation, developed by Xiguang Aerospace, is a typical example of "Sky-Based Data Acquisition and Calculation."

He Xiaoning explained that the "Xiguang Series" quantitative hyperspectral intelligent computing constellation is currently making continuous breakthroughs in key technologies such as lightweighting of large on-board models and inter-satellite collaborative computing, creating a brand-new integrated system of "sky sensing, sky data, sky computing, and sky application," and ushering in a new era of "on-orbit computing and real-time intelligence." The constellation's first satellite—Xiguang-2 01 (Caiyun Hyperspectral 01)—is scheduled to be launched into orbit in July this year, carrying full-spectrum hyperspectral and on-orbit intelligent processing payloads, becoming the core on-orbit verification platform for the implementation of "sky data and sky computing" technologies.

If computing power in space is the hard support, then the hyperspectral AI big data model is the soft engine that unlocks the value of data. He Xiaoning also introduced that CAS Xi'an Optics & Aerospace, in collaboration with Zhijiang Laboratory, has jointly built the "Three-Body Computing Constellation" and jointly developed the hyperspectral AI big data model. This model deeply integrates spectroscopy, artificial intelligence, and industry knowledge, solving the pain points of traditional identification such as low efficiency, high cost, and difficulty in scaling. In fields such as precision agriculture, ecological environmental protection, and resource exploration, the big data model achieves a leap from "observing growth" to "analyzing nutrition," from "checking pollution" to "identifying types," and from "wide-area search" to "targeted positioning," making spectral "fingerprints" more accurate, broader, and easier to use.
