"Xiamen Science and Technology No. 1" satellite specifications
The "Xiamen Science and Technology-1" hyperspectral satellite has been in orbit for over three months, acquiring hyperspectral image data covering more than 150 scenes and over 1.1 million square kilometers in areas including Xiamen, Xinjiang, Lanzhou, Spain, and Venezuela. Data reception and analysis are ongoing. To celebrate China's Space Day in 2023, we are releasing a set of high-resolution images to add to the occasion.

As a "successful start" for commercial spaceflight in 2023, the "Xiamen Science and Technology No. 1" hyperspectral satellite is currently operating well, receiving data normally, and continuously providing users with hyperspectral monitoring data services covering the whole country and even the world. The hyperspectral monitoring data it provides can be widely used in many traditional and emerging industries such as agriculture, forestry, smart agriculture, and ocean color, and can also provide large-scale and multi-dimensional big data information support for modern urban intelligent management, effectively improving the efficiency of smart city governments and contributing scientific and technological strength to scientific monitoring, smart city construction, and regional sustainable development.
