Good news! Xi'an Institute of Optics and Precision Mechanics CAS Aerospace Science and Technology Group Co.,LTD has been selected for the 2024 Xi'an Municipal Industrial Development Guidance Special Fund Project (Cultivating and Strengthening Emerging Industries) Policy Award and Subsidy List.

The 2024 Xi'an Municipal Industrial Development Guidance Special Fund projects focus on five key emerging industries: big data, artificial intelligence, photonics, additive manufacturing, and satellite applications. The aim is to promote the development of emerging industries in Xi'an, accelerate the construction of a modern industrial system, cultivate new productive forces, and inject new momentum into the city's economic development. Following expert review, special audits, and on-site verification, 45 companies, including Xi'an Xi'an Institute of Optics and Precision Mechanics CAS Aerospace Science and Technology Group Co.,LTD Technology Co., Ltd., were selected.

As my country's only commercial aerospace company that independently develops hyperspectral satellites, CAS Xiguang Aerospace has, in recent years, deeply implemented my country's concept of scientific and technological innovation and development. Relying on its technological resource advantages in the hyperspectral field, it has independently carried out core technology research and development, transforming innovative scientific and technological achievements into real productivity. It has independently developed a number of commercial aerospace remote sensing satellite products with advanced domestic indicators, and has successfully launched six self-developed satellites into orbit. Through the comprehensive construction of CAS Xiguang Aerospace's 108-satellite remote sensing constellation, it is making every effort to create hyperspectral remote sensing satellite data products with stronger functionality, higher cost performance, and wider coverage, contributing to the innovation and upgrading of my country's commercial aerospace industry.

As a representative enterprise of Shaanxi's new quality productivity, Xi'an Institute of Optics and Precision Mechanics CAS Aerospace Science and Technology Group Co.,LTD has received widespread attention from all sectors of society in recent years due to its outstanding technological innovation capabilities and promising market application prospects. In March 2024, Xi'an Institute of Optics and Precision Mechanics CAS Aerospace Science and Technology Group Co.,LTD was featured in a special report by CCTV's "Oriental Horizon" program, "New Quality Productivity in China."
