Wang Yantian, Deputy General Manager of Kexin Optoelectronics, delivered a keynote speech in the picture.

This forum, jointly hosted by the China Aerospace Foundation and the Chinese Society of Astronautics, closely followed the national guidelines for cultivating strategic emerging industries, and conducted in-depth discussions on core topics such as policy interpretation, market strategies, and technological innovation. Representatives from government agencies, research institutes, and leading enterprises gathered to jointly explore high-quality development paths for commercial aerospace.

In his speech, Wang Yantian gave a detailed introduction to CAS Xi'an Optics & Precision Aerospace and its commercial layout in the field of hyperspectral remote sensing constellations. He stated that CAS Xi'an Optics & Precision Aerospace, as a commercial aerospace company originating from the Xi'an Institute of Optics and Precision Mechanics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, relies on the institute's core technological advantages in the field of hyperspectral imaging to deeply develop a full range of business segments, including constellation operation, satellite development, payload customization, and data development for hyperspectral satellites. It is the only commercial aerospace company in Northwest China with a complete industry chain layout.

Wang Yantian emphasized that hyperspectral remote sensing technology, with its unique advantage of integrating image and spectrum, can acquire more and richer spectral information, greatly improving the ability to distinguish and identify ground objects. Based on this technological advantage and the strong potential demand for hyperspectral imaging, Xi'an Xiguang Aerospace has made hyperspectral constellation deployment its core development direction since its inception. The company is committed to building "Xiguang-1," China's largest and most comprehensive hyperspectral remote sensing constellation, and plans to achieve a series of 158 satellites connected in parallel by 2030, becoming the first globally to achieve "full-spectrum, 100-band" and "over 100 satellites in orbit" in a chained operation.

When discussing the industry applications of hyperspectral remote sensing constellations, Wang Yantian pointed out that with the gradual construction of the "Xiguang-1" constellation, CAS Xiguang Aerospace will comprehensively cover multiple fields such as agriculture, forestry, marine, carbon sequestration, and mining, providing high-quality, high-precision, and high-revisit-cycle data services for users in government, public, and commercial sectors. He specifically mentioned the company's important attempt and breakthrough in the field of carbon sequestration monitoring—the Xiguang-1 04 satellite, which is the first commercial satellite for point source methane monitoring in China, marking a pioneering step forward for my country in the field of high-resolution point source methane monitoring.

In addition, Wang Yantian introduced the development of CAS Xiguang Aerospace's data service industry chain. The company has independently developed China's first hyperspectral remote sensing satellite big data sharing platform, "CAS Xiguang Remote Sensing Cloud," and the most efficient hyperspectral remote sensing satellite ground processing system, "CAS Xiguang Interstellar Cloud," which can provide users with multi-dimensional, all-time satellite data support and promote the commercial application of remote sensing technology.

This forum not only provided CAS Xiguang Aerospace with a platform to showcase its strength and achievements, but also built a bridge for communication and cooperation between the company and its industry peers.
