On June 17, 2022, a delegation of four people, including Yan Zhiyu, Director and General Manager of Zhuhai Orbita Aerospace Technology Co., Ltd., and Gong Yonghong, Deputy General Manager, visited Xi'an Xi'an Institute of Optics and Precision Mechanics CAS Aerospace Science and Technology Group Co.,LTD Technology Co., Ltd. Zhu Qing, Chairman and Chief Engineer of Xi'an Xi'an Institute of Optics and Precision Mechanics CAS Aerospace Science and Technology Group Co.,LTD Technology Co., Ltd., and Qin Jing, General Manager, jointly received the delegation. The two sides held a discussion on strengthening exchanges and cooperation and expanding business areas.

Before the meeting began, Yan Zhiyu and his delegation first watched a promotional video, satellite application system and satellite payload model of Zhongke Xiguang. Through the visit and research of the product samples, they gained a deeper understanding of Zhongke Xiguang's technical strength, which laid a good foundation for the in-depth discussion in the following meeting.

At the meeting, Qin Jing, General Manager of Xi'an Xi'an Institute of Optics and Precision Mechanics CAS Aerospace Science and Technology Group Co.,LTD Technology Co., Ltd., gave the delegation a detailed introduction to the company's development history, business segments, regional layout, and technical team. She also provided a detailed overview of the company's satellite constellation project, complete satellites, and data application products. Qin Jing expressed her hope that this exchange would serve as an opportunity to achieve true win-win cooperation between the two parties and jointly maximize the success of the hyperspectral business.

Zhu Qing, Chairman and Chief Engineer of Xi'an Xi'an Institute of Optics and Precision Mechanics CAS Aerospace Science and Technology Group Co.,LTD Technology Co., Ltd., had in-depth discussions with the other party on the company's current project plans, technical indicators, and R&D progress. He also expressed that Zhongke Xiguang and Orbita Aerospace have broad cooperation potential and consensus, and hoped that multi-faceted cooperation could be implemented in the future, continuously expanding the scope of cooperation and promoting the common development of both parties.

Yan Zhiyu, Director and General Manager of Zhuhai Orbita Aerospace Technology Co., Ltd., fully affirmed the current business layout and development achievements of Zhongke Xiguang. Yan Zhiyu pointed out that, unlike most commercial aerospace companies, Zhongke Xiguang possesses the capability to independently research and develop and manufacture payloads, satellite platforms, and complete satellites. Its core technologies are independently controllable. He expressed hope that in the future, based on the transformation of the research institute's core technologies, both parties can leverage their respective strengths to further complement each other's advantages and form a powerful alliance, jointly promoting the development of the commercial aerospace industry.

Currently, my country's commercial aerospace industry is experiencing a golden age of development. Guided by national strategies such as encouraging private enterprises to participate in the construction of national space infrastructure, Orbita Aerospace, a rapidly growing commercial aerospace company in recent years, shares many commonalities with CAS Xiguang Aerospace. These include the construction and layout of hyperspectral satellite constellations, the large-scale application and development of satellite data, and the integrated development of space-ground systems combining aerospace remote sensing, airborne remote sensing, and terrestrial IoT. The aim is to actively expand the large-scale application of satellite data in various fields such as ecological monitoring, reconnaissance and mapping, agriculture and forestry, emergency management, and smart cities, providing scientific management and decision-making support for industries such as housing and construction, planning, agriculture and forestry, water conservancy, environmental protection, marine affairs, and the military.

In 2017, two satellites of the "Zhuhai-1" satellite constellation 01 group, built and operated by Orbita Aerospace, were launched into space.

In 2021, the large-scale commercial integrated remote sensing constellation system, independently designed, developed and operated by CAS Xiguang, was officially put into operation.

Based on the "Zhuhai-1" satellite constellation, Orbita Aerospace has created and launched the "One Map of Green Mountains and Clear Waters" service platform.

Based on its own large-scale remote sensing constellation data, CAS Xiguang will build the first hyperspectral data application center in China based on satellite and big data information.

In the development of commercial aerospace, the construction of remote sensing constellations, satellite big data application platforms, and integrated space-ground service platforms is a massive and systematic project, requiring advanced technological support, thorough data verification, and meticulous planning and design. From a cooperation perspective, Orbita Aerospace is a leading enterprise in China's commercial aerospace data application sector, possessing extensive experience in satellite launch and constellation construction, as well as first-class satellite big data processing capabilities. Meanwhile, CAS Xi'an Optics & Technology Co., Ltd. (CASX) was established based on the core technological background of the Xi'an Institute of Optics and Fine Mechanics (XIOM), possessing profound academic research experience, top-tier domestic satellite payload technology advantages, and platform advantages such as aerospace circuit assembly and environmental testing centers.
