At the ceremony, Qin Jing, General Manager of Xi'an Xi'an Institute of Optics and Precision Mechanics CAS Aerospace Science and Technology Group Co.,LTD Technology Co., Ltd., and Xu Keyan, Principal of Xixian New Area Airport No. 1 School, jointly unveiled the plaque for the Youth Satellite Science Popularization Education Base. Following the awarding ceremony, Wang Wei, Project Director of CAS Xiguang Aerospace, delivered a lecture on satellite science. Starting with the concept of artificial satellites, he vividly and simply explained the composition, classification, and launch process of satellites to the teachers and students present, beginning with the world's first artificial satellite. He also guided the students through a series of engaging and interesting low-temperature simulation experiments, effectively stimulating their interest and igniting their passion for science and aerospace.

The establishment of the Youth Satellite Science Popularization Education Base with Airport No. 1 School is not only an effective way for CAS Xiguang Aerospace and Airport No. 1 School to achieve school-enterprise cooperation and connect educational resources, but also another important strategic move by CAS Xiguang Aerospace after its establishment in Xixian New Area Airport New City.
