On May 21, the 2026 Xi'an Silk Road International Expo and the China East-West Cooperation and Investment Trade Fair (the 10th Silk Road Expo) grandly opened in Xi'an, the starting point of the ancient Silk Road. In her speech, Qin Jing shared that aerospace technology is not a distant symbol in the stars, but a warm force that serves people's livelihoods and empowers development.
Leveraging its profound expertise in optical technology, CAS Xi'an Optics & Aerospace has streamlined the transformation of scientific and technological achievements, independently developing and building a quantitative hyperspectral intelligent computing constellation. Unlike traditional remote sensing, which can only observe the surface appearance, this technology can accurately identify material characteristics, much like performing a space "CT scan" on the Earth, playing a unique role in agriculture, mining, carbon sequestration, forestry, and water management.

Qin Jing stated that the significance of science and technology lies in sharing, and the value of data lies in its universal benefit. From Chang'an to Samarkand, from the ancient Silk Road to satellite data, what changes is the medium of communication, but what remains unchanged is the original aspiration of working together for development. On the ancient Silk Road, women connected East and West with their textile skills; today, female scientists and technologists weave a digital Silk Road with their innovative wisdom. As Qin Jing said in her speech, "A single star shines dimly; a multitude of stars together form a galaxy." When China and Ukraine join hands in scientific and technological efforts and when women's wisdom merges, it will surely illuminate the path to common development.
At this year's Silk Road International Exposition, the hyperspectral remote sensing achievements of CAS Xi'an Optics & Aerospace attracted many domestic and foreign guests to stop and exchange ideas, further expanding the space for commercial aerospace cooperation under the "Belt and Road" initiative.
