This is the first data asset registration completed in Shanxi Province in the field of hyperspectral remote sensing satellites, marking an important step forward in promoting the resource and assetization of remote sensing data and further expanding the application prospects of hyperspectral remote sensing data in multiple fields.

As the only licensed data trading institution in Shanxi Province, the Shanxi Data Exchange Center has always been committed to "activating the value of data elements and empowering high-quality industrial development," and has listed the geospatial data sector as a key development direction. This registration is another important step forward in the construction of the geospatial data system, following the center's completion of the first registration of multi-source remote sensing satellite multispectral data assets in China, and further enriches its data product system and service capabilities.
The hyperspectral remote sensing satellite data registered this time was acquired using a satellite system independently built by CAS Xi'an Optics & Light Aerospace. It possesses powerful observation capabilities with spatial resolution ranging from 10 meters to 40 meters and hundreds of spectral bands, enabling refined and quantitative monitoring of environmental elements such as the atmosphere and water bodies. This data product has significant application potential in fields such as mineral exploration, agricultural production assessment, and natural disaster prevention, and highly aligns with the actual needs of Shanxi Province in major strategies such as energy revolution and ecological protection of the Yellow River Basin.
