Cutting-edge technologies showcased, empowering the "Digital Silk Road"

During the "Technology Demand Release for Enterprises in the Commercial Aerospace Industry Chain" session, Lei Teng, Assistant General Manager of CAS Xiguang Aerospace, took the stage to promote the "Xiguang-1 Hyperspectral Remote Sensing Satellite Constellation Project." This project plans to construct a remote sensing constellation consisting of 158 hyperspectral satellites (including 108 general-purpose satellites, 40 dual-carbon monitoring satellites, and 10 functional satellites), aiming to create China's largest and most comprehensive hyperspectral remote sensing constellation system. Lei Teng revealed that the company has successfully launched and is operating 10 satellites in orbit, including China's first commercial point-source methane monitoring satellite, "Xiguang-1 04," whose dual carbon source and carbon sink monitoring capabilities provide key technical support for dual-carbon targets.

Technical strength recognized by authorities, leading innovation in the remote sensing industry

Lei Teng stated that as the only locally-owned commercial aerospace satellite brand in Shaanxi Province, CAS Xi'an Optoelectronics Aerospace has built an independently controllable ground processing system, released China's first open-source hyperspectral remote sensing cloud platform, and innovatively developed five application platforms serving agriculture, forestry, marine, mining, and carbon sequestration. According to the constellation construction plan, two more satellites are planned for launch in the second half of this year, including a mineral exploration and resource environment satellite, laying the foundation for further strengthening the hyperspectral satellite mineral exploration layout, improving my country's mineral identification accuracy, and supporting the detection capabilities of strategic resources such as rare earths and precious metals.

Integrating into the innovation ecosystem to support high-quality development in western China

This conference brought together intellectual property authorities from twelve western provinces and over 100 enterprises and institutions. Zhongke Xi'an Aerospace showcased its achievements in transforming hyperspectral remote sensing technology, providing a practical example for the implementation of the "Initiative on Intellectual Property Supporting High-Quality Industrial Development in Western Provinces," and further strengthening Shaanxi's leading role in the transformation of intellectual property in commercial aerospace.
