The "Xiamen Science and Technology No. 1" XIGUANG-003 satellite is a hyperspectral satellite customized for urban application services in Xiamen by Xi'an Xi'an Institute of Optics and Precision Mechanics CAS Aerospace Science and Technology Group Co.,LTD Technology Co., Ltd. Leveraging its integrated payload technology, CAS Xiguang Aerospace has compressed the entire "Xiamen Science and Technology No. 1" XIGUANG-003 satellite to 50Kg, achieving several top domestic performance indicators for hyperspectral satellites of this size. The satellite features rapid maneuverability, high-speed data transmission capabilities, and multiple modes including video, staring, continuous strip, and multi-strip stitching. It carries two payloads: a hyperspectral camera and a panchromatic camera. The hyperspectral imaging camera operates in the visible-near-infrared band, employing an integrated solution of grating beam splitting, a CMOS array detector, and FPGA-based digital video compression technology. After fusion, it achieves a maximum ground resolution of 10m@500km, 150 spectral channels, and a swath width of 80km@500km. It is characterized by miniaturization, a wide spectral band, a large field of view, and a large relative aperture, meeting diverse user needs such as high spectral resolution, medium-to-high spatial resolution, and multi-source remote sensing data fusion.
