Xi'an Institute of Optics and Precision Mechanics CAS Aerospace Science and Technology Group Co.,LTD was invited to participate in the Beijing Commercial Aerospace Industry High-Quality Development Conference.

At the meeting, Xu Xinchao, Deputy Secretary-General of the Beijing Municipal Government, and Peng Wei, Deputy Director of the System Engineering Department of the China National Space Administration, delivered speeches on behalf of the Beijing Municipal Party Committee, the Beijing Municipal Government, and the relevant national industry authorities. Zhang Jihong, Secretary of the Party Committee and Director of the Beijing Municipal Science and Technology Commission and the Zhongguancun Administrative Committee; Zhang Qiang, Secretary of the Party Working Committee of the Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area; Zhou Hao, Member of the Party Committee of the Beijing Municipal Development and Reform Commission, Deputy Director of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Coordination Office, and Deputy Director of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Joint Office; and Wang Wei, First-Level Inspector of the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Economy and Information Technology, delivered keynote speeches. Gong Weimi, Member of the Party Committee and Deputy Director of the Zhongguancun Administrative Committee, released commercial aerospace application scenarios, and Yang Yiqiang, Chairman of the Zhongguancun Yichuang Commercial Aerospace Alliance, introduced the construction of the commercial aerospace group standard system. Kong Lei, Deputy Secretary of the Party Working Committee and Director of the Administrative Committee of the Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area, presided over the meeting.

Xu Xinchao stated that since the beginning of 2025, Beijing has successfully carried out the Jielong-3 Y5 launch mission (10 satellites in one launch) and the Ceres-1 Y16 launch mission (5 satellites in one launch), marking the successful maiden flight of China's Long March-8A carrier rocket and achieving a "good start" for commercial space launches nationwide. Going forward, Beijing's commercial space industry will focus on four key areas: strengthening top-level design, deepening the integrated development of satellites and rockets, accelerating the commencement of key projects, and enhancing innovation capabilities. These efforts will drive the space economy to prosper first in the capital, making new contributions to building a space power and achieving national rejuvenation.

Peng Wei stated that the China National Space Administration will strengthen its responsibilities for industry management and safety supervision, continue to work with Beijing to fully and accurately implement the new development philosophy, accelerate the construction of a space power, achieve high-level technological self-reliance, and work with commercial space companies, universities and research institutes, financial institutions and all sectors of society to jointly build a new pattern for the development of commercial space. It will play a greater role in building a sound development ecosystem, expanding the scale of the industry, and consolidating the foundation for safe development, thus safeguarding the development of the commercial space industry.

Nearly 600 people attended, including leaders and responsible persons from national and municipal government departments, the Chinese Academy of Sciences, central enterprises, universities and research institutes, financial institutions, relevant departments of Tianjin Municipality and Hebei Province, the Xichang City and Wenchang Space City Administration Bureaus, and Hainan Commercial Development Company; leaders from the Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area Working Committee, Administrative Committee, and Yizhuang Holdings; principal responsible persons from various institutions of the Working Committee and Administrative Committee, various sub-districts and towns, and district-owned state-owned enterprises; as well as industry experts, enterprise representatives, and partner representatives in the commercial aerospace field.
