Xi'an Institute of Optics and Precision Mechanics CAS Aerospace Science and Technology Group Co.,LTD, wholly owned by Xi'an Xiguang Industrial Development Co., Ltd., a wholly-owned asset management company of the Xi'an Institute of Optics and Precision Mechanics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, is a commercial aerospace company that independently develops hyperspectral satellites and provides remote sensing data services. The company has a precisely structured business portfolio encompassing satellite development, constellation operation, ground systems, and data development. It is currently building the Xiguang-1 hyperspectral remote sensing satellite constellation, which includes a constellation of 108 remote sensing satellites, a constellation of 40 dual-carbon monitoring satellites, and a constellation of 10 functional satellites (ocean, agriculture, forestry, and minerals), ultimately achieving a planned constellation of 158 satellites in orbit. It is committed to building my country's largest and most comprehensive hyperspectral remote sensing satellite constellation and is a representative enterprise in the domestic remote sensing constellation industry.
